2. Registration and data use
Our platform is primarily designed for parents and families. For account creation, we process the login data required for access together with anonymised learning progress. Real names and birth dates of minors are not required.
3. Use of AI models and algorithms
MatheJump combines proprietary mathematical and logical algorithms with selected AI interfaces. Only the data technically required for the respective function is processed. Personally identifiable data is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Payment data is not stored on our own servers. Processing takes place solely for the purpose of contract fulfilment.
5. Security and hosting
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. The platform runs on compliant cloud infrastructure, and relevant server locations are within the European Union.
6. Access and deletion
You have the right to request information about stored personal data and, within the limits of applicable law, to request correction or deletion. Requests can be sent to info@mathejump.de.
7. Protection of our systems
Automated scraping, abusive analysis, or reverse engineering of our systems or learning logic is not permitted.
8. Institution applications and roles
For an application submitted for a school or other educational institution, we initially process the applicant’s and institution’s details to review the application, contact the applicant, and create the personal MatheJump account. The institution is generally the controller for learner and staff data, while MatheJump may process that data as a processor on documented instructions. The required Article 28 GDPR data processing agreement is concluded separately before the relevant processing begins. The exact roles depend on the use case and the individual agreement.
9. Partner program payout details
When you activate the partner program and request payouts, we process the payout details you provide — legal name, address, optional tax number/VAT ID, IBAN, and optionally your bank's BIC — to carry out payouts and to meet tax and accounting retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). The data is stored on our servers and transferred to your bank as part of the transfer. Payout records are kept for up to 10 years in accordance with commercial and tax law, even after an account is deleted. You can correct your payout details at any time in the partner dashboard.
